When I got married I was really worried about writing the perfect grooms speech. There are so many things to consider and your always afraid that you might forget someone. That seemed to be my worst fear.
Here are some simple steps to help you create the perfect grooms speech:
- Don’t forget to thank anybody. Just think of everybody that helped you to get to where you are that day at your wedding. Your bride, the best man, someone who gave you good advice.
- Always thank the father of the groom first and say something positive. Remember he gets to say something about you later.
- Talk about how you met the bride. Everyone loves to hear this story.
- Praise your family and the brides. Just talk about how they helped you through life and anything that praises them for you being where you are that special day.
- And last but most important you talk a little about your beautiful bride. Why she is special to you and why you love her so much.
Each of these items are memory joggers and if you go thorough each one of them while crafting your grooms wedding speech you will have one that is well thought out and pleasing to everyone who hears it.
It’s really not that hard to have a really good grooms speech if you just take your time and make sure you don’t leave anybody out. Do that and the rest of you day will flow nicely.
